As you can see, the Around Austin photo contest is on hiatus this week. We’re down a photographer because of a wedding in the Midwest, so instead we thought it was a good time to give you all an update. It’s been awesome since we started back in July and we’ll be launching the full site in about a month and a half. Right now, we’re busy getting everything ready for the launch. We’re also working hard to convince the judges for the Poynter Promise prize that we deserve to win so we get some support. Because of you, we can say that Rooted is already a success.
